Bohemian Inspired Wedding Inspiration: Jamie + Jake

I love beautiful weddings done in a small budget. Here is a perfect bohemian style wedding that will surely inspire couples on a budget.

The bride wore a simple, strapless vintage inspired gown and the groom wore a striped long sleeves and suspenders.  The bridesmaids wore mix and match vintage-style dresses in plains and prints and varying shades of blue from, guess where?? Urban Outfitters and Macy's; while the gentlemen all wore plain, light blue long sleeves with suspenders.

There were a couple of DIY projects that are easy to make such as the bouquets and floral arrangements,the handwritten signs on chalkboards and the photo booth wall.  For dessert, freshly-baked cupcakes made by the bride's best friend, embellished with a super cute topper.

The couple gave away two kinds of favors.  Guests filled their muslin bags with sweet treats from the candy buffet table.  They also took home a vile of wildflower seeds.  On the vile, it reads: “The earth laughs in flowers” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Vintage things from thrift stores such as lanterns, picture frames, tablecloths, vases, cake stands, mason jars, mirrors, and apothecary jars were incorporated with rustic DIY decor to create the perfect bohemian-style wedding.

The wedding was set in the Keys Creek Lavender Farm, California on a sunny day in June, when lavenders are in full bloom.

The atmosphere was filled with the scent of lavender, love and laughter.
Every moment was captured beautifully.

Customize the design. DIY printable wedding invitation templates are readily available from online shops so all you have to do is download the template, load the paper, double check the printer settings and print. Sometimes,you can make your invitation more unique by making a few changes in the font size, style and color, depending on the template.

Be sure to edit all the important details.  Don't forget to make the necessary changes particularly the names, date, location, and other information.

Prepare the materials.  You will need a home color printer, card stock or specialty paper, a cutting knife, and envelopes.  See to it that your printer's ink cartridge is full.

Test print. Before using the specialty paper, do a test printing first to make sure that the alignment, font size and lay out is properly set, and that you will surely get the desired output.

Finally, choose a seller that is ready to help and give you assistance even after you purchased the printable template.

DIY Paper Wedding Decoration Ideas

I think DIY projects are great but you need to make sure about two things: first, do you have enough time to  finish  on time? and second, can you get the help you need?  If you answer yes to these two questions, then go ahead and start planning the project you choose. Where to look for ideas?  I love these paper wedding decoration ideas over at Martha Stewart Weddings.  Here are my top three picks:
* paper table skirt *

* paper pinwheels *

 * paper garland canopy*
