An Ice Cream Cart On Your Wedding

How I wish we had Sweet Lucie on our wedding!

I think a vintage ice cream cart serving guests with luscious ice creams and sorbets would be perfect for a summer wedding or a garden wedding, don't you think?   Sweet Lucie makes ice creams and sorbets  only out of organic ingredients and uses recyclable and compostable cups and spoons so it's perfect for a green wedding too!

Online Wedding Magazine: Utterly Engaged

This fairytale-like table setting is from the first issue of Utterly Engaged, the first online wedding magazine for bride-to-be's who are looking for their dream wedding inspirations that won't break the budget.  Utterly Engaged is a beautiful collaboration between three friends: Eva Chiou of Red Velvet Occasions, and Lucia Dinh and Henny Setiadi of D*LSH Design.

I love the mix & match of violets and greens in this inspiration.  My favorite elements are: the flowers- dried hydrangeas, baby breaths and lilacs, the frames hanging by the tree, the sturdy bench, flowers in jars and metal table number.

Custom Design Your Own Quilt Online

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Quiltcreator. All opinions are 100% mine.

Thinking of what to give a newlywed or a new couple having a baby?  I found this online shop that allows you to create custom designed quilts, bedspreads and infant quilts.

Through their online designer tool, you can choose from a variety of layouts, choose your own set of fabric and the swatches.  Their quilts are handcrafted using 100% cotton overfilled with 250g of cotton. Notice the All Natural Cotton Inc. Logo on the website? Quiltcreator is one of the few companies allowed by Cotton Inc. to carry their official logo.

I tried my hands on designing an infant quilt using the "Flower Garden" layout and fabric patterns from the "Endless Summer" theme.  For the reverse side of my quilt, I've chosen one of the pink floral embroidery.  You can also add a three-letter monogram if you like. Here is my final quilt design:

Readers of TheWeddingBug can get Free Shipping.  Just enter "Ship4Free" on your checkout.  1% of all Proceeds go to One Percent for the Planet to support environmental causes worldwide.  Check out www.quiltcreator.com to try their design tool for free.

Lhasa + Adam Garden Wedding

I cannot get enough of garden weddings.  This is an afternoon wedding in a farm in California. I love the bride's  simple below-the-knee dress, the invitation card, the orange + peach motif, the quilted tent, the peach flower boutonniere, the rustic table settings, and the beautiful green surroundings bathing in the soft sunlight.

Leslie + Jamie's Green Wedding via Green Wedding Shoes

I've just been over at Green Wedding Shoes and I cannot resist sharing this.  These stunning photos are by Mark  Brooke Photography.  I am so in LOVE with the concept of this wedding.  It's gorgeous, unique and earth-friendly in many ways.  Oh, and you've got to hear the story behind their wedding invitation design!

Have you thought about using a bouquet made out of used fabric in place of real flowers? This couple (along with their friends and families) have created their flower decorations out of upholstery samples from a local store.  Instead of using disposable paper towels, they bought kitchen towels which can be reused after the wedding.  You can read more green wedding ideas here as Leslie (the lovely bride) talks about their big day.

People On Your Wedding - Behind the Lens of Dino Lara

I discovered Dino Lara's Photography while searching for Filipino photographers and I love his work! Aside from capturing beautiful moments of the bride and groom, I love that the photographer also turns his eye to the people (families, friends, acquaintances) who have shared their special day.  These are some of my favorite shots from Dino Lara's blog that were obviously taken as they happen!
